Black-throated Blue Warbler

Black-throated Blue Warblers were well represented at my favorite local patch during spring migration this year. This little guy was seen daily for about a week on the trail leading in from the parking area. One day he was feeding out in the open beside the trail and after a little bit of waiting I was able to get this photo. I used the high speed burst mode on my 40D (6.5fps) to help get this nice pose.

Beautiful shot of this nicely marked warbler....I can't get them to come down low enough or sit still long enough for a shot. You did well!!!
