Black wag
Next morning, after a night near the airport, we picked up our rental car and set out to explore Cornwall and Devon. First stop, Stonehenge. First bird: Pied Wagtail. And this time I did notice what a striking difference that black back makes as compared to the pale grey backs of the wagtails in Norway.

Yes, they do look very different, don't they Ann. It did take me a while to work it out though LOL.

A lovely picture of this cheery little guy - they always look so happy, don't they.

I had not realised how different they were, Ann. A lovely portrait.

Excellent low-level camera angle and a great close-up profile taken in a fabulous setting. Top-notch Doc!!!
