Black winged Stilt

Due to the virus I've not been able to visit the Algarve this year. These are one of my favourite birds to see, they are very common on mainland Europe but I've only ever seen Sammy at RSPB Titchwell when he was around.

That's such a lovely picture you've taken of this stilt Mark. You were so lucky to see Sammy... would you believe he disappeared the day before I went there all those years ago... never to be seen again.

I was so disappointed.

So thanks very much for showing us this cracking picture lad - one of my favourite birds too.
