Black winged stilts (Himantopus himantopus)

I thought I would include this field sketch of stilts at our local nature reserve on the Lizard. I went to Windmill farm hoping to see 1 stilt but there were 3 plus a purple heron and a pair of Gadwall, not bad for an hours birding. The fillowing week added a hoopoe with a fox just yards away ignoring it.
