Blackcap (Sylvia atricapilla)

Was delighted to see this female in my garden but disappointed with the poor light (1000 iso job) It has been noticeable this year the lack of birds in my garden compared to previous years at this time. Notably fieldfare and redwing.. I am assured it is a "one off" due to the good Summer and an abundance of natural food.

a super bird kim.i have noticed the redwings and fieldfare are not as many this year too but i do think their need to migrate has been lessened with the weather.many tfs.all the best margaret.
