Blackish Nightjar
This bird, while not a spectacular appearing bird, represents the value of using local guides and services. This bird was located in an abandoned rock quarry that our guide knew. Once we arrived at this quarry, it did not take him 60 seconds to find this bird.

Nicely found and captured. Blends in well with its surroundings.
 
You did well to spot him as he is so well camouflaged.
 
Kit, fortunately my guide had not only "eagle vision" but it seemed, at times, like he had "Xray vision" in that he could see birds through the trees.
