Blackpoll Warbler
An adult female attracted to an orange placed in a tree by volunteers. Looking very different from her male counterpart. Easy to overlook but note the pink legs and feet. A rare migrant in Texas, but we were fortunate to see several on this visit. Formerly included in the genus "Dendroica."

Valley Land Fund lots, South Padre Island, Texas, USA.
