Blending In

Had a lovely time exploring some more of the countryside near where I live last week. Proper grade A farmland where I saw lots of Yellowhammers, Pheasents, Reed Buntings and two deer! I think they were Roe Deer. Saw A Barn Owl at distance too. Look forward to more intrepid birding!
This Reed Bunting was part of a group settling down for the night in a thicket, most of them flew off when I got too close but as they say "There's always one!". Maybe my pisshhing helped. LOL! ;)

Edit: I've just noticed the twig "piercing" the tail! ;) My twiggy eye... o:D

A lovely capture. You caught it in a great pose with the tail splayed.

Glad you had a good day, lovely picture, with lots of detail. The pose is really good! reminds me I must get down to your patch again!
