Hi Roy, I'm still at the experimental stage but I've had some successes, thanks. I even took a short video clip of a distant Little Egret on Saturday.
Yes, I've had to tape the "near" side of the TC. It's not as easy to do as the lens side and it doesn't stay in place as well either. I'll try other types of tape - something will work. having great fun though - thanks!

Hi Simon, I used bog standard sellotape and covered all the pins - it held very well although you would not want to be taking the tc on and off all the time.
No probs with the signature.
Must admit I never tried video with the set-up, interesting!
