Life : Blossom

Hope ... !!!
I shall
Ever
Cling
To you
Through
Thick
And thin
Up
And down ....

Roller coaster
Of life
Moves on ....

Unseen hands
Guiding
Along
A path
Unknown
Under
The canopy
Of
All encompassing
Compassion ...

....Let there
Bloom
A thousand
Blossom

Long Tailed Shrike
_______________________

...it was in the forest
near Dalhousie ...

.... I was following the
movements of a
Kestrel on the mountain
slopes ...

... I slipped and as
I tried to break my fall
with my hand on the
ground ...a dry branch
....about 5-6 mm thick
....penetrated my hand
.... blood gushed out of
the hole and there was
intense pain ...
I lay on the ground as
Renu applied pressure
to stop bleeding ....

... a bird started calling
in the nearby tree ...
behind where we were ...

...it was this Shrike
among
the branches ...
...asking my welfare

...making me forget
the pain and blood

...and communicate ....

I hope your hand is ok Alok. This is a gorgeous picture of this beautiful Shrike and some beautiful words for us to ponder as well. Thanks for sharing Alok & Renu!!!

I do hope your hand has healed Alok. What a superb detailed close-up of this very beautiful bird together with your wonderful words. tfs.

Ouch ouch! I hope you're well on the mend now. Perhaps even helped by seeing this beautiful bird...?

Great shot and sharing, my friend.
My slip and felt when I was in Hong Kong was luckier - only scratches on the knee, and minor damage to my lens hood, no repair needed, both me and the lens.
Hope your injury recovers soon, Alok.
