Blue-crowned Motmot

Blue-crowned Motmot (Momotus lessonii)

For one of those situations of life, I had to go back to the other side of the world -just- for 5 days and got the chance of a few frames in my country.

I'm sharing a few portraits of birds found near the central capital that I still consider beautiful and worth checking and photographing.

This one is the Blue-crowned Motmot, the most common of the six species we have and even present at the Central Valley and inside Coffee plantations right in the middle of the city.

Best regards,

Alex

Nice portrait. Did you shoot it in RAW? If so, you could have increased the exposure by about .66 to 1 stop. Well done. :t: :t: :t:
