I don't know that I've seen a picture of one clinging to a tree trunk before Stanley - thanks my friend.

The Blue Jay is one of my favorite birds. Growing up in St. Louis we saw them all the time.

Our poor Beagle/Terrier mix had a heck of a time with the Blue Jays. She would be walking through the yard and they would swoop down and either peck her on the head or grab at her tail. She caught a couple but most of the time they were off before she could even turn around. I would see them in Hazleton all the time and I see them occasionally here in Port St Lucie. And you cannot miss their bird call.
