Blue Jay (Cyanocitta cristata)

Blue Jay above the feeders, just after giving a loud cry that's impossible to describe, (a fluting cry maybe?), in order to scare everyone away. Here he crouches down to get a clearer view of the feeders to see if he was successful, and at the same time keep an eye on me.

Sometimes I can't even think straight with the noise my crew of Jays make.

A lovely capture of this Blue Jay Bill.

Fantastic pose with great lighting showing marvelous saturated colors. Great setting with the lichen laden branches. Top-notch Bill!!!
