Blue Magpies (urocissa erythrorhyncha)

My previous few postings were taken at about the optimal distance for digiscoping with the 30x eyepiece (8 meters) and today's postings were taken towards the long end for detail (about 40 meters). This fruiting palm is attracting lot's of birds in the late afternoon in one of our local parks. I was digiscoping ducks and night herons on the pond and keeping one eye on this tree in the background. This was definetely a job for the Remote Control.
