Blue-tailed Trogon
This humid rainforest speciality obliged on our second day in Ecuador at the superb West Andean reserve at Maquipucuna on the main trail which was probably one of the best walks of the whole tour. It's the closest pristine cloud forest to Quito and must not be missed...besides, I am crazy about Trogons!
