Blue-winged Teal

Blue-winged Teal (Anas discors)

I captured this duck this month at Magnolia Plantation, I prefer song-birds but as KC says all birds are beautiful. I wish it was a little sunnier when I took this but this is January and it's a lot of rain and overcast.

Oh my Daniel!

It's really showing off that blue wing beautifully in this great closeup guy!

It's overcast with
lots of rain here, too,
Daniel. This excellent picture
of yours goes a long way towards
lightening the January Gloom, though -
a blue-winged blues buster, in fact. Cheers!

Such an attractive duck, Daniel, and that is a lovely portrait.

I like the contrast between the blue and the patterning on the wings. Nice shot, Daniel.
