Blyth's Hawk Eagle (Spizaetus alboniger)

Overlooking the valley below from its lofty perch above the rainforest,we got just one shot of this Blyth's Hawk Eagle before it flew.There was nothing we could do about the branch across the bird.Cloning it out would have still left us with the branch's shadow.Besides that,we like to document what we see,as we have always done,not manufacture perfect images via Photoshop !

A splendid image of a bird I'd love to see. :clap: The stick? I agree, cloning it out would be messy - and don't birds always place themselves conveniently behind a twig? :'D At least this one didn't put its eye behind it.
