Bobolink (dolichonyx oryzivorus)

I've never seen the male in its breeding plumage, with its striking black suit on. This in nonbreeding, and I'm not sure if its male or female.
Habitat
marsh
Location
New Jersey
Date taken
August 2014
Scientific name
dolichonyx oryzivorus
Equipment used
Canon 50d; 400mm f5.6
This image is good on so many levels, most of all composition. Excellent artistic eye, here!

Beautiful picture of this beauty Teto. Fabulous work! Since you photographed it in August, adults should still be in breeding plumage so this should be the female.
