Bold Jumping Spider (Phidippus audax: Salticidae). 6-15 mm (0.24-0.59 in). Photographed on Indian Blanket also called Firewheel (Gaillardia pulchella).
Habitat
Post Oak Savannah vegetation area. Upland dominated by post oak and yaupon at 73 m (185 ft) elevation.
Location
Lick Creek Park, College Station, Brazos County, Texas, USA.
