Booted Eagle (Hieraaetus pennatus, Aquila pennata)

Our first sighting and capture of this Booted eagle soaring over the vast expanse of Lake Kolleru!!! We spotted a couple but could only capture one.. They moved out of range soon after. I have been attending to ICU & emergency surgeries all along... been sick for a couple of days..last weekend..but am back in duty now... few of our staff (nurses & Consultants) sick and in quarantine... trying to keep the morale of my ICU staff high. Looks like the worse is yet to come... our nurses are few (several in quarantine)..but they keep on working for 8 to 16 hours non stop.. Life goes on!!!
