Bornean Bristleheads' bathtime (Pityriasis gymnocephala)

Very strange birds these with a series of calls to match their looks. Thanks to a canopy walkway we were lucky enough to get an eye-level view of this wild bunch at their morning ablutions. No leeches up there either; they're waiting down below....

Gosh Max!!! What a wonderful find for you - it's 7 whole years since the last time we saw this species in here.

A super picture of this little group - very well done lad.

They really seem to have enjoyed their bath, don't they LOL
