Boss Junco again (Junco hyemalis)

Here's another look at this droopy winged yet dominating junco. It held its wings slighty akimbo as well as drooping down. It kept making me think of the way over muscled professional wrestlers or body builders hold there arms. lol. But like I said before, didn't seem to be anything wrong with it, I still see it out there with a lot of energy, flying around and chasing other juncos.

Excellent capture! Reminds me of the display poses some of the sparrows and finches perform. I've seen this for instance in Greenfinches - wings outward and downward and behaving aggressively. I think maybe the wing posture makes them look bigger ...?

This Boss man knows how to walk the walk (lol). Gorgeous close-up showing brilliant detail Bill. First-class!!!!

Wonderful capture of this Junco trying to make himself seem like the Big Guy on the block. Very Nice.

Strutting his stuff! Great capture, tfs! Love seeing the back of the junco, we all seem to get the white belly when we take a shot! Well done!
