Gulf Prairies and Marshes vegatational area. Open prairies, marshes and salt flats at ca. 1 m (3.3 ft) elevation.
Location
Southwest end Old Port Isabel Road, southwest of Port Isabel, Cameron County, Texas, USA.

Almost looks like a cousin to the rare double-crested pencil billed sparrow without the pencil bill that I posted a few days ago! I always appreciate the education I get from looking at your beautiful posts!
