Bourgening Thief (Sturnus vulgaris)

This bold fellow was one of a few European Starlings sneaking into the open windows of a seaside restaurant to nick breakfast straight off the plates of unsuspecting tourists in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Signs around the establishment asked patrons to not feed the birds, but also to leave your plates and trays on the tables after you were finished eating, leftovers and all. Unfortunately my good gear was packed away, but I had a point + shoot in my pocket to capture him eyeing my breakfast burrito.
