Bourke's Parrot
Bourke's Parrot is a small parrot of the dry inland of Australia,but reaches the west coast of the continent .It is found in dry mulga country and other acacia scrubs as well as open eucalypt woodland.This bird,one of a pair,was encountered while they were feeding on the ground,foraging for fallen seeds and seeding grasses.

I've heard them in the Flinders Ranges, but couldn't locate them, so I've only seen them in aviaries...a splendid shot of this little fellow! :clap:
