Brandt's Cormorant
Large number of these strictly West Coast marine cormorants were in the harbor, attracted by schools of shoaling anchovies. These are immature, dark brown instead of black with a pale tan blaze across their chest. One bird with spread wings shows retained reddish-brown juvenile flight feathers.
