Brazilian Toe Biter also known as the Giant Water Bug (Lethocerus maximus: Belostomatidae) They get to 11.0 cm (4.3 in) long. This specimen was at its maximum size. South Wild, south of Pocon, Mato Grosso, Brazil. Adjacent to to the Pixaim River. Riverine with wetlands and cerrado at ca. 128 m (420 ft) elevation.
