Crikey!!! What a beautiful close-up you've taken of that shoulder patch David.

Can you help me my friend? We don't really describe the breeding plumage in The Opus article, is the main image on the article a non-breeding bird? He has a very different shoulder patch to this one.

BTW there was a minor typo in the scientific name you used, which I've corrected. Hope you don't mind.
