Brewer's duck (Anas breweri)

Brewer's duck is an uncommon, intergeneric hybrid between mallard (Anas platyrhynchos) x gadwall (Mareca strepera). It was actually described and named by Audubon.

What an odd looking duck this is Graham! I see he doesn't have the curly tail feathers.

That's a temendous picture you've taken of him too. Very well done laddie.
