Bright yellow bird with a fuzzy head and white tail feather

I shot this photo today in hopes that someone can tell me what this adorable little guy is!
Mary Ann, I have the feeling this pretty guy is a Canary, an escapee from a cage and not a wild bird. No birds in North America have that fluffly crown and that white patch in the tail, but the Canaries bred in captivity can be terribly variable... I've seen a few with that lovely look.

This is just my oppinion, but I might be wrong! Let's see what other say...
