Brown Anole
Brown Anole (Anolis sagrei: Dactyloidae) Also known as the Bahaman Anole. Introduced in the USA in the 1970s.
Habitat
Small coastal woodland with planted ornamentals adjacent to Laguna Madre at ca. 2 m (6.6 ft) elevation.
Location
South Padre Island Convention Center, South Padre Island, Cameron County, Texas, USA.

Superb shot Stanley, every wrinkle of this fascinating creature set beautifully against the green foliage. I guess it will be a little easier to photograph than birds, at least it can't fly away! A pity it's in the "invasive" category, but it's still highly photogenic.
