Brown Anole
Brown Anole (Anolis sagrei: Dactyloidae) male. Males are larger than the females. Their normal size (tail included) ranges from 15.5-20.3 cm (6.1-8.0 in in) long with the largest measured male being 22.9 cm (9.0 in) long. A very common naturalized species native to Cuba and the Bahamas.
Habitat
Gulf Prairies and Marshes vegetation area, barrier island, planted native garden in front of the nature center abutting Laguna Madre.
Location
South Padre Island World Birding and Nature Center, South Padre Island, Cameron County, Texas, USA.
