Brown Creeper (Certhia americana)

Had three of them on an ash tree in my yard this morning.
This one, along with several chickadees scattered around the yard, had turned into statues. They were totally motionless, allowing me to get quite close to this fellow. I suspect a hawk must have been nearby. After a few minutes they relaxed and went about their business again.

That sure sounds like the behaviour that most birds here show when there#s a hawk about Bill.

What a cracker of a close-up you've got of this guy my friend. Very well done laddie.
