Brown Quail (Coturnix ypsilophora)

I had a nice surprise yesterday, I never saw them in Fairyland before.
Location
Sydney - Fairyland
Date taken
January 2009
Scientific name
Coturnix ypsilophora
Equipment used
Canon 30D + Canon 400mm f,6
As a species is it rare or just rare in Fairlyland? Good, sharp, clean image. Hows the heat by the way. :t::t::t: cheers B :)

This is not a rare bird even for Sydney but Fairyland park is a very small area (300m x 400m) that I go for short walks at lunch times and I saw more than 100 in near 1 year species there.

That's a cracking shot. I've added it to the Opus article.

Thanks
