I have been away for a few weeks in the goldfields and down on the south coast of WA ( looking for Starlings!).

I had the opportunity to snap a few birds while I was away.I am always fascinated by the way this bird flys ,with its legs dangling down

I've only seen this bird once and it was sitting very sedately. Lovely action shot.
