Buff-breasted Paradise-Kingfisher
This beautiful Kingfisher breeds in Australia,but migrates to PNG in the southern winter.Several pairs of these birds made their home on our property in Nth.Queensland years ago.These birds excavate nesting hollows in terrestial termite mounds.(photo on Extachrome X)
