Bufflehead (Bucephala albeola) male.
Habitat
Edwards Plateau vegetation area, sewage ponds adjacent to the Colorado River next to the river is a riparian hackberry/elm woodland and elsewhere the ponds are surrounded by open fields at 134 m (440 ft) elevation.
Location
Hornsby Bend Bird Observatory, Austin, Travis County, Texas, USA.
