Bullfinch female (Pyrrhula pyrrhula)

The female of the pair that have been regular visitors to our garden this spring. I should add that as well as chomping on the Sunflower hearts they have also been eating the Malus flower buds!! I hope they have missed some because the crab apples are an important winter food for Blackbirds etc.
