Bullfinch (Pyrrhula pyrrhula)

Beautiful sunny morning yesterday so I took a swervy afternoon off. Humped my gear across the snowy, icy and waterlogged heath only for the clouds to close in, the rain to start and just to put the top hat on the situation, the forresters decided to set fire to the birch/beech scrub upwind from me. Just time for a few snaps of these handsome chaps before I retreated home.
