Bustardland
To post or not to post? That was the question. ;) Finally I decided to post, simply because I like this piccie and gives an idea on what I see when I go to the steppes of C Spain. Might sound silly but this image, with the Montagu's Harrier flying over the steppe with the Great Bustards behind, has plenty of meaning for me :bounce: Right the kind of image I love to share!!!

:bounce: Delighted to see you too liked this pic so special for me, a million thanks for your kindness looking and writing those great comments on it, have made me very happy!!! o:)

I must confess I was lucky the Bustards appeared first and had some pics of them, and then the Harrier... if they appear at the same time I would have be in panic not knowing what to shoot at!!! :-O But everything was fine to get something I'm very pleased with!!! :bounce:

Cheers, everybody!!! B :)

Super Harrier species in a famed location populated with those wonderful Bustards, of course you love the place - thanks for showing Marian.

Super shot Marian. We didn't see that many Great Bustards in one field when we visited Spain in '89.

Nice work Marian.
I go to see one great bustard in Portugal. In flight. All to brief but at least I saw it.

Marian, not only a fantastic flight shot...but one of the most incredible backgrounds I've ever seen!!! The colors not only grab your eyes, but the lines add to the feeling of the Harrier's movement. Awesome! :t:
