Saw three of these today, very noisy they were too! They gave me the run a round a bit and it's not brill but I'm happy I got this as the rest are blurred and I couldn't make it look any better lol ;)

Its a wonderful pic despite the quality short comings......they are very whiley birds, and once they are on to you, its hard work trying to get close......congrats on a great post of this magnificent creature!

Super Julie!! cracker and a first mate!! looks like he is fed up of being chased so giving you the bird LOL. That 300 mm of yours is getting some great stuff of late!! :t::t::t::t
 
Hi Julie,

You got quite close to this bird. It looks like a perching point that could well be used from time to time. You could go there again and watch to see what its movements are and then wait for the perfect shot.
