Caddisfly
I found this on one of the windows round my flat in early September.

Never seen anything like this here before, not a clue where to start looking for an ID, so over to you clever lot.

Now identified by @mummmymonkey and @Rother Birder in the Insect Forum (and on here) as a Caddisfly. I'd never have got there. Interesting though... I did think the eyes reminded me of shrimps.

We have similar insects over here Delia. If Rotherbirder is correct it's a very large and widespread group of insects. Very interesting, tfs!
