Canary Flycatcher; Montane Flycatcher or Papuan Flycatcher Microeca papuana (Microeca papuana)

The new name of this species in the new edition of "Birds of New Guinea" is Papuan Flycatcher. Not an uncommon species but usually overlooked. In the Arfak mountains in the Vogelkop this species breed between September and October. During this period we have seen nests with one to 2 eggs and parents birds feeding chicks.
