I've rather a soft spot for the shrike family Juancar and you've a very fine picture of this guy, for which I thank you.

I've changed the scientific name you used, as this species was split from Great Grey Shrike, to become as subspecies of Southern Grey Shrike. I hope you don't mind.

A great close up image of this Shrike and beautifully captured Juancar!
Looks very much like our Loggerhead Shrike.

Cambié el nombre científico que usaste, ya que esta especie se separó de Gran Alcaudón gris, para convertirse en una subespecie de Alcaudón gris del sur. Espero que no te moleste.

Ah!!! Now, having checked with Avibase, I'm not sure either Juancar. I'll check with The Opus editors.

These taxonomists, they are not happy unless they are changing something :whistle:
