Cape Dwarf Chameleon
Cape Dwarf Chameleon (12-19cm).

As a child in Cape Town I remember Cape Dwarf Chameleons being common, especially in gardens. Now, sadly, they are quite a rare sight. I took this one in my mother's garden last December.

Fynbos, renosterveld, thicket and gardens.

I love the way its tail curls up at the end.

Sad it is going the way of so many other species.
