Capercaillie a dedication to Jim Wood (Tetrao urogallus)

I took this on the morning I last saw Jim earlier this year. So I would like to dedicate it to him. He was one of the finest gents and most incredible photographers I had the pleasure to know ;-)

Hope you are having fun with the angels Jim ;-)

always looked forward to seeing his excellent photographs
thanks.!

A fine dedication to a fine gentleman and photographer, well done Dude. Because of living at different ends of the country, I never met Jim. But through the PM's and the correspondence I had with him through Birdforum, I always found Jim to be such a warm person. He and his work will be sadly missed by myself and lots of others on BF.

What a wonderful capture & dedication, Jamie. Sorry to hear of Jim's passing. As mentioned, his photos were always excellent in bringing life from the other side of this planet into our homes. He will be missed.

I have looked back at the last photo JT shared with us last August. An Arctic Tern, looking just like an angel. o:D I am sure they are with him now.

am sure he would be real proud of your image and someone i never knew but jtwoods images i do remember and always will.all the best margaret.

I must have missed this superb dedication... a great job, I'm sure JTW would appreciate it
