Cardinal hiding from Mockingbird (Cardinalis cardinalis)

This bamboo, now over 10 feet high, was planted by my landlord a number of years ago. Fortunately, it provides excellent cover for the birds. This Cardinal wanted to eat from the feeder on the nearby tree, but each time he would land on the tree, the Mockingbird would immediately fly to the tree and chase him away.
