Cardinal Lory
I found another picture I took of a limited range species that might be worth adding to the Birdforum database.
Habitat
Seen in most jungle areas along the coast and foothills.
Location
Solomon Islands endemic.
Date taken
Taken during a 2011 work trip to Guadalcanal Island.
Scientific name
Pseudeos cardinalis
Equipment used
An unrecalled point and shoot pocket camera.

Congratulations Joe!
This is the first for this species to be added to the gallery.
And it will be a First Image of the species to be added to Opus when I can get it put in.

Barney

Thanks, sorry it's such a poor picture. As with so many of my old work pictures, I used whatever camera was in my pocket at the time.
