Carrion Crow

Carrion Crow (Corvus corone)

It's nearly 3 months since I last posted a pic, shocking behaviour! There don't seem to have been many birds around, what with weeks of strong winds, and now the "summer recess" while they lie low and moult. I'm looking forward to catching up with the Gallery.

Anyway, here's a Crow. The glossy plumage recalls my hair being plastered with Brylcreem as a schoolkid in the 1950s. Horrible stuff!

Thank you for your kind comments on my pictures, and good birding!

A super picture you've got of this iridescent crow lad - LOL I remember my father and brother using Brylcream and we had antimaccasars on the lounge furniture too!!!
