Caspian Reed Warbler (Acrocephalus scirpaceus fuscus)

A race of the Eurasian Reed Warbler but greyer than the Eurasian, very similar to Blyths Reed and Marsh Warblers.

Migrates through Arabia to sub-Saharan Africa, the Sudan, Ethiopian highlands and E Africa and now Central Arabia at irrigation dams. It breeds N Afghanistan.

a beautiful photo of this lovely warbler, Duha, a subspecies we don't see here. superb details and great setting, many tfs!!!
